APPOINTMENTS Welcome to the 21st century! We, at The Tax & Mortgage Shop, will use mostly modern-day technolgy to serve you better and faster. YOU WILL NOT BE COMING TO THE OFFICE. No more fighting traffic to get to the office. No more traveling in treacherous whether for your appointment. You will not have to take off from work. You can have your tax return prepared from the comfort of your home (or even the DIScomfort of your workplace), school, your parked car or any other location. If I prepared your 2009 tax return, you should already have your appointment for the preparation of your 2010. If you do not, or if you are a new client, please send an email to teddy@taxandmortgageshop.com. Be sure to put the word 'Appointment' in the subject. You'll receive a faster response.  Appointments are taken M-F 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, and Sat 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.   A) Review the 'reminder' on another part of this website to see which items apply to your situation. B) Let me know if you'd like to have a quote on a life insurance policy for you, a spouse, a dependent, grandchild or any other person in your circle. C) There are 3 methods that you can use to get your tax information to me. (A)Scanning and emailing is the preferred and fastest method or (B) by fax 1 866 645-2188 or 410 931-2240 or (C) mailing them to me at PO Box 539, Parkton, MD 21120, 2 days prior to your appointment. When you send your data, let me know if you'd like a phone or a Skype appointment. D) I will contact you at your appointed time and interview you via one of those methods. When the return is complete you may pay via Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, check, money order or the fee can be deducted from your refund ($55 service charge). E) Your copies and the signature pages will be emailed, faxed or mailed to you, whichever will be quickest for you. If emailed, I will secure them with a pass code.   F) You will sign the authorization forms, and fax, mail or email them back and your returns will be Efiled. I do not need the originals. The federal refund will be direct deposited to your account within 2 weeks or mailed to your home within 3 weeks. The state refund will take approximately 3 days to be direct deposited to your account or about 5 days to be mailed to your home.
